HipGnosis is one alias of central Illinois hip-hop and electronic producer, Eric Young. His album, "Beats and InstruMentals," is more traditional hip-hop, while his album, "META," is a new school sound he's been perfecting for some time. He also just released the third and final EP in the "Supply and Demand" series, which feature intense vocals on several tracks. This series is bringing a more glitchy IDM sound to the forefront to several tracks, while still maintaining a mellow hip hop feel. His third full-length album is entitled "Ear Responsibility". It features outstanding rap performances on 3 of the 15 songs, the rest being some of the dopest instrumentals ever, in styles reminiscent of 90's hip-hop masterpieces. For the time being, all of HipGnosis's albums are only available in digital download, until a reliable distribution deal is set.
